Biographical History

After serving as Mission President, Robert F. Driggs was recruited by BYU to help administer the business affairs of the University. From 1977-1979, Driggs was Administrative Assistant to President Oaks. Driggs then served as Assistant Vice-President of Business with Robert Smith from 1979-1983. In 1983, he became Assistant Executive Vice-President, serving with Rolf Kerr. Driggs was responsible for the University Press, the BYU Farm, the Computer Guidance Council, and the Motion Picture Studio. In 1984 Robert Driggs left the University to serve as the Chief Financial Officer for Evans and Sutherland in Salt Lake City.
