Arrangement

The original collection is organized in the same order that it had when it arrived in the University Archives. An addendum consisting of 82 boxes was added to the collection in the Fall of 2003. The addendum included records from several related unprocessed collections. Therefore, the general files were organized chronologically, beginning with the oldest records. In the case of a folder having a span of dates, for example 1952-1978, the processor used the latter date for organization purposes. Under the Faculty files subheading, the papers were kept in alphabetical order. A second group of records pertaining to the collection were discovered in November 2003 and added to the collection as a second addendum--Addendum--1979 Records. This addendum is organized chronologically.

Arranged in two series: 1. College of Family, Home and Social Sciences records, 1956-1978; and 2. College of Family, Home and Social Sciences records addendum, 1952-1998.
