Biographical History

P.U.S.H. (established approximately 2006) is an academic program in operation at Oak Canyon Jr. High School, Lindon, Utah.

P.U.S.H is an organization at Oak Canyon Jr. High School devoted to taking extracurricular trips to historic and scientific sites within Utah in order to grant students a deeper learning. It was organized by Sue Jones, Jon Winget, and Cherae Ecalono, all teachers at Oak Canyon Jr. High School. The program was organized around 2006. P.U.S.H. is an acronym for Preserving Utah's Science and History. They have received generous funding and participate in several field trips, including to Sundance, South Fork, Bridal Veil Falls and the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival. Several prominent figures have spoken for P.U.S.H., including Senator Orrin Hatch.
