Contains photocopies of handwritten correspondence including letters, newspaper clippings, and postal cards, likely created by Albert Winkler, a descendant of Brady, for research purposes. The materials primarily relate to Brady's experiences as a missionary in the Northern States Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1911-1913. He served much of his time in the Chicago, Illinois, area and in Indiana. He often mentions his son, Sidney Alphonso Brady. Brady received letters from his wife, Alberta, children, and other friends and family members. Correspondence dated 1911 to 1913. Also includes some research notes by Winkler.

Biographical History
Alberta Sanderson Brady (1865-1936) was a Mormon woman in Utah.
Levee Alberta Sanderson was born October 28, 1865 in Fairview, Utah to Henry Weeks Sanderson and Sarah Jane Cole. She went by the name Alberta. On January 19, 1882 she married Jordan Hendrickson Brady, and they had thirteen children together. Her husband was a missionary in the Northern States Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1911-1913. Alberta died April 21, 1936 in Fairview, Utah.

Albert L. Winkler (born 1949) is a librarian in Utah.
Albert Lynn Winkler was born on November 22, 1949 to Wendell A. Winkler and Leota Brady, and was raised in Tooele, Utah. He attended Snow College, and completed a bachelor's degree from Utah State University (USU) in 1973. He received a master's degree from USU in 1976, and joined the faculty of the Harold B. Lee Library at Brigham Young University in 1979. Winkler continued his studies after his appointment, earning another master's degree from the Catholic University of America in 1980, a master's of library science from Brigham Young University (BYU) in 1981, and a Ph.D. in history from BYU in 1982. He has previously worked as a manuscripts cataloger, and is currently the library's history subject librarian.

Jordan Hendrickson Brady (1863-1952) was a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a resident of Fairview, Utah.
Jordan Hendrickson Brady was born January 27, 1863 in Fairview, Utah to Jordan Brady and Mary Lovina Howell. On January 19, 1882 he married Levee Alberta Sanderson, and they had thirteen children together. From 1911-1913 Jordan served as a missionary in the Northern States Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he labored primarily in Chicago in various parts of Indiana. Jordan died on July 23, 1952 in Fairview, Utah.
